What does a mortgage broker do?
Simply put, I’ll work with you to get the best mortgage for your needs.
I will:
- Learn about your situation and your goals to tailor the best solution for you
- Shop around and negotiate on your behalf to get the best deal (often there are a range of things a bank/lender will offer to a broker that they wouldn’t offer directly to a customer, i.e reduced / waiver of fees)
- Do the heavy lifting with the bank to ensure you meet their policy requirements, submit supporting documentation and general admin needed to get things across the line
- Deal with and negotiate with various parties on your behalf, including (but not limited to) real estate agents, lawyers, conveyancers, buyer’s agents and more
- Be by your side the whole way through the purchase process to offer guidance, insights and support
- Help this purchase to fit into your whole financial / investment portfolio, both now and in the future.

And if you’re wondering how we can offer our services free of charge, it’s because we get paid by the lender (i.e. the bank) who provides you with the capital to invest. Our fee does not come out of your pocket.
